Church Planters

Is God calling you to Plant a Biker Church?

Every church plant begins with a church planter. We believe God has called pastors to serve as the visionary leaders of the church. Therefore, church planters are to lead the local church with a servant’s heart as they lead in the equipping of individuals for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12; Hebrews 13:17). Each church planter must meet the Biblical qualifications given in 1Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 2:5-9 for church pastors while have a servant’s heart that demonstrates a love for all people, a working understanding of Ephesians 4:11-12 and a minister’s role of equipping disciples, plus a real knowledge about the motorcycle community.

A potential Freedom Biker Church planter must share our passion while carrying our burden for the biker community. A church planter must be a willing and enthusiastic participant in both the sport and lifestyle of riding motorcycles, and will need to understand and respect peoples love and loyalty for this unique ministry. They need to be a high-energy recognized leader, team builder, someone who knows how to develop other leaders.

“A successful church plant begins with a healthy church planter.”

We’re committed to those God leads our way and we expect the same from every church planter and from every FBC church plant. It takes a special person to plant a church. Planting a church is difficult. Planting a Freedom Biker Church will be even more difficult. There will be numerous challenges to you, your family, your leadership, and your ministry. Therefore, understand that a wise leader understands his role in shaping the vision and culture of the church. He also understands the need to remove themselves from the pressures of ministry and experience renewal and reflection in their personal lives. Planters who take great care of their spiritual walk are personally and professionally healthier than planters who do not. And, they lead healthier, more biblical, and more sustainable churches.

If you feel God may be leading you to plant a FBC church, or if you are interested in knowing more about the ministry of Freedom Biker Church, email Preacher Mike Beasley and share what God is doing in your life.  Below are some questions we ask each potential church planter to pray through and answer when considering being a church planter.  These questions will help you and us in determining what God is doing in your life.
